Skyline Ski Huts was originally part of Three Sisters Backcountry and the Tam Rim Yurts. After 20 years, owners Anna and Jonas Tarlen sold the Tam Rim Yurts in 2025 to some employees/friends Lisa and Syver Pearson. Now we only operate the Skyline Hut to Hut Traverse.  This 3 day - 2 night, 22 mile traverse consists of the Happy Valley and Lone Wolf Cabins.  These unique cabins were originally built by Jonas Tarlen and the Fox brothers in 2014 and have hosted thousands of skiers since.

This hut to hut project has been an accumulation of hard work from the broader ski community, the Forest Service and dear friends. 

Anna and Jonas are excited to focus their attention on the traverse, making sure the cabins are outfitted comfortably, the food is well stocked and the trail well marked.  We know the ski and the conditions can be challenging and it makes it all worth it when you arrive at a beautiful, warm, remote cabin.
Anna and Jonas live in Sisters, Oregon and have been skiing here in all forms since 2001.
